Dad’s hope

Journal page 7 attached is dad’s drivers license in 1979 when he became homeless which was until 1997 when my sister and I picked him up and took him in forever changing our lives in a deep and profound way.

” I give thanks to God for the many blessings I have and hope others are so fortunate as I, because without the respect of others I am not happy or fulfilled. As a person of much compassion, I pray desperation will be eliminated (the last thing upon our minds) and that the children will be truly happy. There is so much to do that is good and at times, I get all hurried and have to let time guide me to contentment and peace of mind. My hobbies and my art help and I hope these words one day be an inspiration to who ever reads then, as well as my art”
